1 Introduction to Tree Genetics and Molecular Breeding
Tree Genetics and Molecular Breeding is an open access peer-reviewed journal published online by GenBreed Publisher. The journal is publishing all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all aspects of tree genetics and molecular breeding, containing the studies on the cloning and analysis of tree or forest genes or genomics; the analytical and functional of tree or forest molecular genetics, evolutionary genetics and population genetics; molecular breeding studies of tree or forest, including ornamental/horticultural trees, as well as the bioinformatics analysis on tree/forest.
2 Aims and Scope
Tree Genetics and Molecular Breeding is committed to publishing and disseminating all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all areas of tree genetics and molecular breeding, as well as bioinformatics and the related field.
All papers chosen for publications should be creative reviews, innovative research work, short communications, and case reports on all aspects of tree genetics and molecular breeding, including the studies on the cloning and analysis of tree or forest genes or genomics; the analytical and functional of tree or forest molecular genetics, evolutionary genetics and population genetics; molecular breeding studies of tree or forest, including ornamental/horticultural trees, as well as the bioinformatics analysis on tree/forest. The primary criterion for publication is new insights that are not only of broad interest to tree/forest scientists, and teachers/students/researchers engaged tree/forest, but are also appropriate for R & D personnel as well as readers interested in tree/forest classical genetic approaches, molecular biological approaches, and newer disciplines.
3 Publication mode
We are following the Open Access publishing model. All papers published in this journal are licensed to all users under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and recproduction in any media, provided the original work is properly cited (see GenBreed Publisher Open Access Policy).

Online publication
There are much more advantages for online publishing, including:
** Peer review quickly and professionally
** Anti- Plagiarism by CrossCheck
** Publish on line immediately upon acceptance
** Deposit permanently and track easily
** Open Access under Creative Common licences
** Disseminate multilingual possible
5 Indexing and archiving
All articles published in Tree Genetics and Molecular Breeding will be deposited in CrossRef with the DOI (Digital Object Identifer) identity. For details please see Instructions for Submission.
6 Publication Period
Tree Genetics and Molecular Breeding promises to offer much faster publication schedules. Normally it takes two or four weeks depend on the speed of peer review. Using the recommended manuscript preparation formats will largely speed up the paper procedures and shorten the periods. Research articles will be published electronically in provisional PDF immediately upon acceptance. A fully HTML web version and PDF download version will be available within four weeks after acceptance.
